Dave Todd appointed as Paragon's Engineering Ops Manager
North East-based Paragon Rapid Technologies is delighted to announce the appointment of Dave Todd as Operations Manager for its Engineering division. Dave Todd (right) brings with him more than 35 years of engineering and prototyping operations management experience. For the last decade he has worked with some of the biggest names in the UK’s precision CNC machining, tooling and engineering industries.
Alongside his operational management skills, which include a long track record of reducing costs and improving efficiencies across the board, Dave has gained extensive knowledge and experience in design, planning, influencing and management of large scale engineering projects in the aerospace and defence, automotive and rail, sports and industrial sectors. He also holds accreditations in Quality Standards 9000 and ISO140001. Latterly, Dave was Operations Manager at Darchem Engineering Ltd, the high temperature/thermal engineered solutions provider, where he spent 5 years working closely with customers within the global defence and aerospace sectors on complex aerostructure problems.
Dave Todd’s arrival marks the culmination of significant amounts of investment in Paragon Rapid Technologies’ engineering capabilities, including a newly built, state-of-the-art facility alongside its Additive Manufacturing and Rapid Prototyping plant at Durham Tees Valley Airport; and the recent purchase of a 2.5m gantry 5-axis CNC machine to enhance the company’s capacity and support its loyal and growing customer base.
