International airline pilot training and resourcing organisation CTC Aviation has been found to “exceed expectations” following a review by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI). Inspectors observed lessons and conducted formal interviews with trainees, staff and Senior Executives and found the training organisation to have performed to an “excellent” standard in trainee “welfare”, “the quality of teaching and learning” and “the effectiveness of governance, leadership and management”.

The “quality of curriculum, teaching and learners’ achievements” were also found to be “excellent” with trainees’ attainments considered “outstanding”. “Examination and test results were recognised as significantly higher than national averages, with the vast majority…completing their courses successfully and achieving placements with airlines”.

Facilitated by its dedicated airline placement service, CTC Aviation’s employment record of 98% for their graduates remains unrivalled in the industry.

The ISI is an approved Educational Oversight body authorised by the Home Office to inspect privately funded further education colleges and English language schools in England and Wales offering courses on the Qualifications and Credit Framework. It is designed to improve the quality of education on offer to international cadets who attend UK colleges through Tier 4 of the points-based system for student visas.

For CTC Aviation, Tier 4 Visa Sponsor Status ensures that the Commercial Pilot’s Licence (CPL) and Airline Transport Pilot’s Licence (ATPL) courses “meet the definition of an approved qualification as set out in the Home Office Guidance” . This allows trainee pilots from all around the world to benefit from the high standards of training available from CTC Aviation Group Ltd.

Founded in the UK, CTC Aviation is a fast growing business with seven Crew Training and Resourcing Centres strategically-placed worldwide. In May 2015, it was acquired by the US-based L-3 Communications group of companies. It is internationally recognised for delivering airline pilot training and trains over 400 ab initio (new entrant) pilots each year. It counts British Airways, easyJet, Virgin Atlantic, Qatar Airways, Flybe, Wizz Air, Jetstar and IndiGo among a growing number of domestic and international Airline Partners.

CTC Aviation also works in partnership with UK-based Universities, Middlesex and New Buckinghamshire University, as well as a number of international universities, offering trainee pilots flight training programmes linked specifically to aviation degree courses.

CTC Aviation’s flagship CTC WINGS airline pilot career programme - for aspiring pilots with very little or no flying experience - is open for applications all year round. Courses commence monthly and trainees complete their training at CTC Aviation’s Crew Training Centres in the UK and either the United States or New Zealand.
