Cobham signs Women in Aviation & Aerospace Charter
Cobham has become the latest company to sign up to the Women in Aviation & Aerospace Charter. In doing so it has committed to support the progression of women into senior positions and provide fair opportunities for women to succeed at the highest levels.
This reflects an aspiration by the Company and industry to drive a better gender balance in the sector and promote greater diversity and inclusion.
The Charter, launched earlier this year at the UK’s Farnborough International Airshow, demonstrates the commitment by the UK’s aviation and aerospace industry to work together to build a more balanced and fair industry for women.
Becoming a signatory to the Charter not only demonstrates Cobham’s commitment to doing the right thing and embracing good management practice, it’s also a practical framework that helps the business address one area of diversity improvement.
