Cobham launches SkyHigh
Cobham has launched a new range of lightweight telescopic composite masts, known as SkyHigh, capable of maximum payloads of up to 600kg and deployment up to 20m in two minutes.
Joensuu, Finland: Cobham, a world leader in telescopic composite mast technologies, is pleased to announce the launch of the first product, in a new line of masts, known as SkyHigh.
Cobham’s lightweight SkyHigh SH333/20-3,3 mast is the first in a new range of telescopic masts that provide rapid deployment, up to 20 metres, with a compact footprint and no guying required. The range of masts can be deployed in under two minutes and can carry a large maximum payload of up to 600 kg.
The SkyHigh range of masts is incredibly versatile with multiple interface options including remote control and computer operated. It features a mechanical structure which has no pneumatic or hydraulic components making it durable, reliable and has minimal maintenance requirements.
Mounting options allow the masts to be installed on the exterior or interior of vehicles, in a shelter or on open ground.
Cobham’s masts are manufactured to the highest standard and are designed to withstand the severe weather conditions, battle environments and even ballistic strikes, making them ideal for the harshest of environments.
The lightweight telescopic composite vehicle mast will be on display, along with other composite masts, on Cobham’s stand at Eurosatory 2018, Hall 5A, Stand C750 in the UK Pavilion.
