CMAC Group provides specialist airline services that protect client brands and enhances their travellers experience during flight disruptions such as delays, diversion and cancellations, as well as safely moving airline crew.

The firm, with offices in the UK, Spain, Greece, Portugal, and now The Netherlands, handle both pre-planned and alternative transport and re-accommodation when disruption strikes. CMAC Group support partners during severe weather events, strike action, natural disasters and technical/operational problems.

Airline Services & Accommodation Partner (A.S. & A.P.) support over 40 airline partners across three Netherlands airports, including the country’s main international airport - Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. A.S. & A.P. seamlessly re-accommodate disrupted passengers and crew, each year they book over 25,000 room nights.

This is the third acquisition that CMAC Group has made in recent months, following its purchase of Suntransfers, one of Europe’s largest airport transfer companies, in September 2022 and Coach Hire Comparison in June 2023. This is in addition to its strategic partnership with Checkedsafe as announced in March this year.

The strategic move will benefit A.S. & A.P.’s valued airline partners who will now be able to book alternative transport and re-accommodation solutions across Europe and beyond, plus CMAC’s clients will have the additional reassurance of on-the-ground presence for their passengers and crew across The Netherlands.

Wim Kanon, Founder and Managing Director of Airline Services & Accommodation Partner, said: “This move represents an exciting opportunity for A.S. & A.P. to expand its reach and capabilities and drive further value for clients and hotel partners, many of whom I’ve worked with for over 14 years.

“I look forward to working with CMAC’s team and believe that the combined strengths of our two companies will create a powerful force in the market.

“I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank clients and hotel partners for their support and I am excited to continue working together in this next chapter.”

Peter Slater, CEO of CMAC Group, added: “We’re pleased to welcome A.S. & A.P. into the CMAC Group. This strategic move aligns with our vision for growth and further strengthens our proposition for airline clients.”

CMAC Group supports airline partners by managing their alternative transport and re-accommodation during irregular operations. The Group has a combined turnover of £150m+ and in 2022 safely transported more than 2.5 million travellers and expects this to be nearly three million in 2023.
