Brookhouse Aerospace awarded JOSCAR accreditation
Lancashire based engineering and manufacturing business, Brookhouse Aerospace, has been awarded JOSCAR Registration.

JOSCAR (Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register) is an accreditation system for the Aerospace, Defence and Security sectors and achieving this status determines that a supplier is “fit for business” and is valued by some of the largest Defence companies including BAE Systems, Raytheon UK, MBDA and Leonardo.
JOSCAR is an accreditation systems set up by ADS Group and is a collaborative set of information and data that validates supplier information. Key to supporting purchasers is a knowledge that the information collected meets the requirements and compliance dictated by the key customers and is simple to access and use.
As a key supplier into the aerospace and defence sectors, JOSCAR is a welcomed addition to Brookhouse Aerospace list that already includes AS9100 Rev D, ISO9001 and NADCAP Approvals for Chemical Processing, Composites, Non-Metallic Material Testing and NDT. The business also holds EASA Part 21G, EASA Part 145 and Cyber Essentials Plus certification as well as key customer approvals including BAE Systems and Airbus.

Brookhouse Aerospace is an independent UK engineering and manufacturing business based in Darwen, Lancashire, formed following an MBO from the US based Kaman Corporation in February 2021.
The UK facility has grown its focus from manufacturing composite components, structures and assemblies, to offer a complete manufacturing solution covering a broader range of capabilities. Brookhouse Aerospace can offer a wider range of capabilities which now includes metallics, sheet metalwork, fabrication, machining and metal and composite bonding. The facility has on-site a fully NADCAP, Airbus and BAE Systems approved treatment capability to support customer needs. Additionally, the business also offers a range of Ground Support Equipment to MRO customers.
Brookhouse Aerospace’s key markets lie within the Aerospace and Defence sector and with the growth and expansion in capabilities and accreditation, the business will be able to demonstrate to its customers an ability to satisfy their needs on a wider scale.
