Boeing to upgrade British Army Apaches

Boeing has been awarded a $488,076,762 modification contract, for the remanufacture of 38 AH-64 Apache aircraft (and three Longbow crew trainers and associated spares) for the British Army.

Boeing has been awarded a $488,076,762 (£377.7m) modification contract, for the remanufacture of 38 AH-64 Apache aircraft - and to procure three Longbow crew trainers and associated spares - for the UK.

Work on the British Apaches will be carried out in Mesa, Arizona, with an estimated completion date of 31 May, 2024. Fiscal 2010 other funds in the amount of $488,076,762 were obligated at the time of the award.

US Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity.
