Babcock to showcase intelligent support partner capability at DSEI

Babcock is gearing up to demonstrate its credentials as the defence sector’s intelligent support partner at next week's Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) 2019 event (10th-13th September), with a focus on collaboration, partnerships and technology.

Smart ways of working will take centre stage, as Babcock shows off why it is trusted by its partners and customers to support some of the world’s most complex and critical global assets and to deliver leading – edge training.

Understanding and anticipating future trends, Babcock is delivering international engineering solutions around the clock, across land, air and sea.

At DSEI 2019, the company is bringing its new, immersive 360 degree technology pop - up experience to the show which will offer a glimpse into i-Support 360; Babcock’s technology driven engineering approach, which provides powerful and dynamic ways of interpreting information and ensuring the effectiveness of complex maritime assets.

Babcock representatives will be on hand to talk to delegates about its global capability agenda including fleet, equipment, infrastructure and training support throughout the week.

On stand exhibits will include a scaled down model of the Pilatus PC-21, the Babcock owned aircraft which is maintained on behalf of the French Air Force (FAF), for the Jet Pilots Modernisation Training Programme – (formerly known as FOMEDEC); a fully certified VR7 armoured Toyota Land Cruiser 200, offering ballistic and blast protection to defence and civil customers and; a submarine cutaway model showcasing Babcock’s experience in design development from concept to key equipment integration.

Now in its 20th year DSEI provides an exciting opportunity to promote technology and innovative training and engineering support options to governments, national armed forces, industry thought leaders and the global defence & security supply chain across the Aerospace, Land, Naval, Security & Joint domains.
