The award was accepted by Keith Chuter, British Airways’ sales manager, Scotland. Keith said: “We are delighted to have won this prestigious award. Our Scottish operation is a vital part of British Airways’ business.

“We operate in the region of 50 return services a day between Scotland and London’s three principal airports of Heathrow, Gatwick and London City, more than to any other country on our global network, connecting Scotland, its businesses and its people with the rest of the world.

“Our commitment to our Scottish customers has been reinforced by the completion of our new executive lounge at Aberdeen Airport, which was officially opened last month by Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Rothesay.

“The development is part of a £45 billion five-year investment by British Airways designed to provide our customers with the very best service in the air and on the ground."
