AVS-SYS to provide UK based European Repair Station for Comtek
Aerospace composite specialist, AVS-SYS Ltd, has been selected to operate a European Repair Station for Comtek Advanced Structures Ltd (Comtek), providing a UK based facility for Comtek approved repair schemes covering the European fleet of Bombardier aircraft types.

From its UK based purposed built facilites, AVS-SYS Ltd provide maintenace and repair for composite aerospace components such as leading edges and engine cowls.
This facility will provide European customers with greater access to Comtek’s expertise and its innovative solutions that can extend service life and minimise future repairs and the costs associated with them.
Paul Heaton, Managing Director AVS-SYS Ltd. said: “Comtek and AVS-SYS have been working together over several months to create a modern, efficient repair facility that will provide the European fleet with a local resource for rapid turnaround and high quality repairs.
“The partnership with Comtek has been of great assistance in AVS-SYS recently obtaining EASA Part-145 Maintenance Organisation Approval.”
AVS-SYS was founded over 10 years ago to provide customers within the aerospace industry with support and assistance across sales, marketing and programme management.
