Altus will present Koh Young’s Zenith full 3D AOI System at the exhibition. With 3D replacing 2D systems almost exclusively in the coming years, Koh Young has positioned themselves as leaders in this innovative technology. “Altus will demonstrate the benefits of the Zenith 3D AOI so visitors can see first-hand how the system has the ability to inspect and provide quantitative measurement of components to deliver the most accurate AOI inspection on the market. This includes the lowest fall calls and escapes at practical production rates to match the pulse rate of the fastest SMT lines; explains Richard Booth, general manager at Altus.

“We will also be introducing the Kirsten Wave Solder pot for the first time at the exhibition. This core module, which is the heart of Kirsten’s innovative wave soldering system, offers the best in class performance to the often overlooked area of THT production. Unlike most wave solder machines on the market, Kirsten has developed a truly modern, efficient, fully modular system, with lower running costs.

“We are looking forward to demonstrating these latest additions to the Altus portfolio and meeting with new and existing clients at the show next month.”

Altus will also have a YJ Link Board Handling module on the stand from the wide range of systems available from YJ Link. With the move to implement automation in order to reduce the labour costs in any end product, the high quality board handling products from YJ Link answers the need for this market trend.
