Aerospace Implementation Programme launched
The aim is simply 'Achieving excellence through accelerated learning'. The workshops bring an innovative and highly-effective programme for aerospace companies from the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK.
The AIP is a combination of IRCA and IAQG recommended and certified training programmes supported by onsite consulting and mentoring to assist companies drive real improvement and build competitive advantage.
Whilst the 25-year aerospace sector growth forecast creates many opportunities world-wide, there are competitors also, making for a demanding and competitive global supply chain.
The training elements of the programme cover five core skills and capabilities that all aerospace suppliers must excel at to survive and thrive in the consistently growing global aerospace sector and supply chain. All five training workshops are two days and are based on aerospace AS standards.
However training of employees alone is not enough; skills development has to be translated into competence and the capability to deliver enhanced performance. This is where the consulting support assists companies with an onsite and hands-on, project focused approach that delivers results.
