AEB has released the results of its UK Brexit Conference held last month, providing valuable benchmarks and preparation checks for business, as the UK prepares to leave the EU.

At AEB's 8th Annual Compliance Conference 'Hands-on now: The Global Trade 2-Year Plan of Attack for Traders' held last month, delegates from government, business and industry, responded to an AEB survey.

It brought together government representatives and consultants, as well as business leaders from across UK industry.

The information-packed agenda featured the latest regulatory updates, industry perspectives on corporate compliance on a global scale and practical examples of Brexit impacts and risks as well as mitigation measures. In a survey, delegates revealed insights and assessments on their risks, challenges, investments and opportunities under Brexit developments and within an overall dynamic and competitive business landscape.

The survey was followed by a hands-on workshop in different teams offering diverse perspectives. They focused on compiling a template that every company should consider for the different areas of their business when dealing with significant challenges ahead, particularly as the UK prepares to leave the EU. The results present valuable benchmarks and check-points of preparation that every business needs to have on screen.
