On 7th April 2016 at the UK headquarters in Bingham, Nottingham, delegates are invited to get hands-on with the new technology. The morning will feature product demonstrations and the opportunity to discuss this technology with the company’s technical experts.

The event is free to attend but places are limited. Those interested are urged to sign up soon via the website: http://www.3dlasermapping.com/open-day-phaseone-100-mp-camera

3D Laser Mapping represents PhaseONE industrial in the UK as it believes PhaseONE offers the best technology when it comes to medium format cameras. In addition to being a fantastic stand-alone sensor for airborne and UAV applications, the cameras make a useful addition to any laser scanning system.

“We’re excited to introduce these new cameras,” said Dov Kalinski, general manager of Phase One Industrial. “They promise to make aerial data acquisition more efficient and enable large format coverage at a medium format size and cost.”

The new 100 Mega Pixel iXU/iXA cameras provide 11,608 pixel cross-track coverage with the same GSD at the same flying height. A CMOS sensor (ISO from 50 to 6400) allows for a longer flight time, and the cameras have a higher sensitivity for all weather conditions. The images are much more detailed due to the 84 db of dynamic range and up to 0.85 second capture rate per camera.

"This open day marks the first of many to come, and we are excited to welcome existing and prospective clients to our Headquarters in Bingham," commented Charlie Whyman, Global Sales and Marketing Manager at 3D Laser Mapping. ‘’We understand the importance of really getting to know a product before you purchase, which is why we are offering hands-on experience as well as technical demonstrations.’’

Established in 1999, 3D Laser Mapping is a research led, privately owned company based in Nottingham, UK, with offices in Perth, Australia, Centurion, South Africa and Denver, USA.
