In November 2023, the Australian Government released the 2023-2030 Australian Cyber Security Strategy which illustrated the challenge cyber security poses and the actions needed. 2023-2025 was identified as the window to address immediate concerns and build partnerships to ensure long term security. Assisted by the UK / Australia Free Trade Agreement and the AUKUS programme, the British High Commission Canberra, UKDSE and ADS Group will be organising a trade mission to Australia.

This mission of up to 15-20 companies, in addition to government delegates will be centred on cyber and digital capabilities relating to cyber security, digital twinning, IoT security and the implications of AI and Quantum technologies on the above. The mission will be an opportunity to gain exposure to the Australian market via networking events, briefings and roundtables in multiple Australian cities, while benefitting from an extensive programme of G2G engagements with a variety of Australian stakeholders from local & federal government, public sector CNI providers and private industry.

Utilising the timing of the mission, there will be ample opportunity for UK companies to walk the floors of both MAST and AISA to provide insight into the current outlook of the Australian Cyber sector.

This trade mission is jointly led by UKDSE and ADS Group, with support from AusTrade, the Home Office and various other government departments from both the UK and Australia.
