WATCH BACK ON DEMAND
This webinar was delivered to gain insight into LAAD Defence and Security 2023. It was a great opportunity to get a taster of what is in store for the 2023 event. This webinar was hosted in partnership with the British Embassy, Department for International Trade and the event organisers.
The UK Defence and Security Exports (UKDSE) team in Brazil is responsible providing support to UK companies that are interested in doing business in Brazil. During the webinar, the Director of the team, Mr Carlos Lima, outlined the current opportunities regarding the Security and Defence sectors in Brazil. Besides that, since the country is going through a political change because of the presidential election, which happened at the end of 2022, Mr Lima gave a brief explanation on what was the scenario of the political side for defence in the final stages of the current government, but also what the new government is looking like already and what we are expecting for the future.
The organisers covered operations, fact and figures and delegations. All speakers plus colleagues from UK Defence & Security Exports were available for Q&A.
