ADS are pleased to share with you an opportunity to participate in the ADS Meet The Buyer at Advanced Engineering 2024 (AE2024). The free-to-attend show will take place on 30 - 31 October at the NEC, Birmingham, with the Meet the Buyer event being hosted across both days of the show.
The Meet the Buyer event at Advanced Engineering has enabled suppliers to meet with companies that are actively seeking capabilities, engage with the right people within the procurement and supply chain functions, and to connect with companies outside of their primary sectors.
Building upon the successes of the last two editions of AE, where ADS have hosted Meet the Buyer events, at AE24, the Meet the Buyer area will be separated into individual Sector Areas, providing more of a focus on sector specific requirements and capabilities.
Suppliers will have the opportunity to attend pre-arranged one-to-one meetings with Buyers. Our aim is to host over 300 meetings; matching suppliers with aerospace, defence, security and space buyers to develop meaningful business connections and strenghtening the UK Supply Chain for future years.

ADS have onboarded a variety of companies as Buyers across Defence, Aerospace and Space sectors; including Airbus Defence & Space, Cranfield Aerospace & MBDA. ADS are continuing to onboard Buyers for this event.
Based on the meetings that are arranged with the Buyers, participation may be required on a single day, or across both days. ADS will be endeavouring to inform all applicants whether they have been selected to meet with any Buyers by the 15 October.

Meeting Format
Meetings will take place between 10:00 and 16:00 on both days. Meetings will be 20 minutes in duration.
Meetings will be held in the ADS Meet the Buyer area at AE2024. You may bring articles/components to show the Buyers, as well as a laptop/tablet to present slides.
Costs
For ADS members and all AE exhibitors, there will be no charge to participate in the Meet the Buyer event.
For non-ADS members who are not exhibiting, participation will be charged at a flat rate of £250 per company. Payments are to be made after confirmation of down-selection by the Buyers and before ADS confirms your meeting slot(s). If your meeting(s) are cancelled by the Buyer(s) and do not end up taking place, ADS will refund the cost. Cancellation made by the supplier is once payment has been made, is non-refundable. Payment will be made through the ADS Events Team via a link to our payment portal.
