Isha, a current committee member of the ADS New Professionals Forum, will be discussing her journey into her current role at Atkins, from her BSc in Geography to her position today as a Graduate Consultant in the Aerospace, Defence, Security and Technology Division of Atkins.
Specific focusses of the talk will encompass previous client roles, work with the Women in Defence Charter, and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I)
This event will be hosted on Microsoft Teams, comprising of a 30 minute talk that will culminate with a 15 minute Q&A session. We look forward to seeing you there!
Biography:
Isha graduated from The University of Manchester in June 2020 with a First-Class degree in Geography. As a real-world orientated subject, her degree enabled her to develop a detailed understanding of contemporary global issues and encouraged her to form critical links between a range of ideas in order to form solutions to world problems. During her undergraduate degree, she completed a summer internship in Marketing and Operations for an education management company, contributing to the creation of their new marketing campaign and leading negotiations with prospective clients. Since joining Atkins ADS&T group in April 2021, Isha has taken on the role of Programme Support office for the Defence Growth Partnership. Some of her experience on this role includes project managing monthly governance meetings at CEO and Director levels, supporting the creation, delivery and implementation of the refreshed DGP strategy and assisting in the development of the DGP communication strategy. In her free time, Isha enjoys cooking, going to the gym and going out to eat with her friends.
