Biography
James Gavin, Head of Future Capability Innovation, DE&S.
James has worked in government and industry before joining DE&S four years ago.
FCI sits inside the DE&S Gateway. Its role is to accelerate novel ways of working and technologies into operations. It is the DE&S petri dish, and has several teams including Futures Labs, Prototype Warfare, Capability Accelerators as well as traditional pre-concept work and helping others such as the DIU to progress wider MOD innovation ecosystem initiatives.
