Market Insight
The UK and Türkiye’s defence relationship has gone from strength to strength, with a strong and growing defence industrial relationship that covers air, land, and sea domains. In particular, UK industry continues to work with Turkish counterparts to develop their TF-X Combat aircraft.
Similarly, the signing of the Statement of Intent on defence cooperation with Türkiye’s has led to closer collaboration between both countries’ defence industries, the identification of possible joint training exercises in the Mediterranean, and the exploration of security support around North Africa and the Middle East.
