Join us for an enlightening discussion featuring a senior aerospace leader alongside two young professionals as they explore how careers in the aerospace industry will evolve and what that means for our future workforce.

There's no need to book, just head to the Main Stage theatre for 14:30.

This session has been brought to you by the ADS New Professionals Forum, a peer-to-peer networking and professional development group for those in their early careers or anyone new to the aerospace, defence, security and space sectors.

During this session, we will delve into how the sector is planning to meet the critical sustainability goals of achieving net-zero emissions.

Our panel will examine the changing skills required for aerospace professionals and the innovative cultural shifts within companies to support these new demands.

Agenda

  • 14:30 - Welcome
  • 14:35 - Panel Discussion on Main Stage theatre with Q&A
  • 15:00 - Networking and further Q&A in Networking Area alongside Main Stage
  • 15:15 - Event ends

With a focus on cutting-edge technologies, sustainable practices, and the future workforce, this conversation will provide valuable insights for anyone interested in the trajectory of aerospace careers in an era defined by environmental responsibility.

The panel session will last for 30 minutes then attendees will be invited to join a networking session for the remaining 15 minutes, hosted alongside the stage in the Networking Area. The networking session will enable further discussion on these topics and to engage with your peers, those new to our sectors and leaders.

We also welcome students and families to attend the session to provide some insight into career pathways, and give you an opportunity to meet and ask questions with those already in the sectors.
