ADS are delighted to host with Clifford Chance a limited space members’ discussion on the new Procurement Act. The discussion will allow ADS members to hear from the Ministry of Defence experts on Public Procurement – who have led the implementation of the new act within the MoD, training over 2000 MOD civil servants in how to apply the legislation, as well as Industry leads who have supported the introduction of the act and have a wealth of knowledge in Government contracting.
The UK Government’s new UK Procurement Legislation goes live on 28 October 2024. This radical change to UK Public Procurement will change how the UK Ministry of Defence procure over £38bn per year of Goods and Services. This session will focus on the changes in legislation and its impacts on the Defence Industrial suppliers, and offer practical tips and insights for Industry when responding to Defence procurement requests and contract changes.
